Ent Keep

So what the heck’s an EntKeep you ask? It was derived from Entertainment Keep.  Maybe if we move to a big stone house someday we’ll see if the domain EntCastle is available ;-).

Coincidentally, an Ent Keep might also be a safe place for giant intelligent walking trees to seek safety in times of war - like for the Ents in the Lord of the Rings.

Lord of the Rings has got to be the most epic movie (series) of all time.  What a great and extraordinary accomplishment. The Hobbit will be released December 14, 2012, December 13, 2013, and July 18, 2014.  My hope that it would match or perhaps exceed the spectacularness of LOTR is fading fast. The pictures that they released of the new dwarves show them to be awful -  at most three of them look okay.  Most don’t look anything close to how Gimli looked in LOTR, which was spot on.  The new dwarves look like frikkin’ gnomes, black haired elves, and humans with splashes of Klingon and Ferengi - ughhhh.  Or if you want, just call the Hobbit’s Dwarves “Goth Garden Gnomes”.  This all makes me think that they are going to try and be real cutesy and trendy with The Hobbit instead of fairly faithful to the source material, which will stink. Several people I know have already said that they have no interest in The Hobbit based on knowledge to date. I am increasingly leaning towards waiting for the Hobbit DVDs. Contrast that with the fact that I saw each LOTR film several times in the theater.

All that is necessary for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.
My variation of a classic and poignant saying.

If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.
